Thanksgiving

We know that we have so much to be grateful for during this adventure year in France.

However, it doesn't mean it's always easy.  Today was an example.  It seemed that on this Thanksgiving day, we all woke up feeling a little down with a serious case of missing our friends and family back home.

This was Lily's solution on how to cheer ourselves up:

Brilliant idea.

Using Tripadvisor, Barry found Le Kashmir restaurant and with the butter chicken elixir a mere five minute walk away, we decided to not even wait for dinner.  We were out the door within minutes for our Thanksgiving lunch.

For starters, some sirop de pêche for the two girls
Doesn't quite replace family and friends or my Mom's pumpkin pie, but hard to be too down with this spread in front of us...
......and this.
So, from the Canadian family in the South of France eating Indian food on Thanksgiving Day, we send our love to all of our family and friends and please know how thankful we are to have each one of you in our lives.

Happy Thanksgiving.

  1. I am happy you had a yummy Thanksgiving lunch celebration followed by Grace's delicious cake. We were certainly thinking of you. Brian and family were here and we had fun playing Lily's Ipad game "Heads Up".
